HEALTHY WASHINGTON — ROADMAP FOR RECOVERY

Healthy Washington is the state’s new phased approach for COVID-19 recovery.
The governor’s office has posted basic information about the plan.

The State of Washington updated the Healthy Washington - Roadmap to Recovery plan on May 18, 2021, with all Counties now advanced to Phase 3.  The Governor's Office has indicated that the entire State will be fully open by June 30th at the latest.

PYC is following the guidelines outlined in Phase 3 of the Plan.  The impact to the Club is:
  • In-Person Clubhouse Events Capacity Limitations - limited to 50% of the indoor capacity of the Clubhouse

The PYC board continuously reviews our level of closure to ensure compliance.

Where can you find accurate information about COVID-19?

General guidance on protecting yourself and your family:
  • Stay home if you are ill or are caring for others who are ill.
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Wash your hands often with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60 percent alcohol.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth unless your hands are clean.
  • If you suspect you may have been exposed to the coronavirus and are not experiencing life-threatening conditions like shortness of breath, please call your doctor’s office. Nurses and doctors will be able to advise whether you need to be seen.

More specifically, here is how we are going to handle this situation at Poulsbo Yacht Club:
  • Decisions to close or reopen the Club will be made in concert with public health authorities.
  • We will continue our normal handwashing and hygiene procedures, including proper mask usage, per Washington State Department of Health guidelines.
  • We strongly request that you stay away from the club if you have symptoms of illness or fever or are caring for others who are ill.
  • We will be sanitizing surfaces as frequently as possible with a bleach solution, and sanitizing wipes will be available in the clubhouse for member's use.
  • If members need to cancel event reservations due to illness or concerns, please contact the event chairperson or Vice Commodore.
  • We will be in touch with members by email and the website if we decide to cancel events.

Should COVID-19 appear at Poulsbo Yacht Club, we will close the Clubhouse. If you become infected and are diagnosed, please contact the PYC Commodore immediately at 360-633-0657 or commodore@poulsboyc.org

Thank you for your vigilance during this rapidly evolving situation. Our number one priority is the safety and well-being of our PYC community.

Everyone must wear a mask at all times indoors.
Everyone must stay 6 feet apart or wear a mask in all outdoor common areas.
(Our docks are narrow...plan on needing a mask!)
