On The Water | Cruises and Sailing Regatta

 

The Poulsbo Yacht Club organizes fun and exciting cruises throughout Puget Sound to locations such as Gig Harbor, Seattle, Port Ludlow and Everett. 

 

This is where the magic happens; whether you are new to cruising, new to the area, or have travelled around the world a time or two and have been a member for decades.  Getting your boat out of the home port and taking off for a few days with friends and fellow boats is a wonderful time.

 

These Cruises, and the associated social events hosted by volunteer cruisers and coordinated by the host, are amazing.   The Puget Sound is a destination cruise location.  We are so lucky to located in these prime cruising waters with charming port locations and incredible views. Take some time to relax at a potluck, take a dinghy tour, sit around an evening campfire or participate in many other activities. A yacht club cruise is a great opportunity to socialize, and form friendships with PYC members and other hosting yacht club members. 

 

The cruise schedule runs from September through May each year.

PYC sponsors a number of sail “regatta” events throughout the calendar year.  These range from informal evening sailing on Liberty Bay, to short overnight cruises.  All “regattas” are informal and place an emphasis on seamanship and the fun of being under sail.  All interested sailors and guests are welcome. Specific regatta events are announced in the Springline and weekly Club emails.
