Join your fellow PYC members for a weekend full of fun and activities at the Tacoma Yacht Club's annual Daffodil Marine Festival.
Good food! Live music! Boat decorating! Cheer on our trivia team and parade entry! You can come by boat, RV or car and join events as you wish. In addition to registering with Tacoma YC, we ask you to sign up with PYC so can organize our events throughout the weekend.

- Daffy Card pre-registration. Daffy Cards will be issued to any visitors wanting to use the clubhouse restaurant or bar during the 2024 Daffodil Festival.

Cost
- Boat moorage and RV fees paid directly to Tacoma.
- Pay as you go and BYO for food/events. No cash or cards are used to purchase at the bar or for meals. Daffy Dollars will not be used this year. Daffy Cards will be issued to any visitors wanting to use the clubhouse restaurant or bar during the 2024 Daffodil Festival. Pre-register for a Daffy Card on the TYC website.

Breakfast: at the club, on your boat, in the town!
Morning: As a club we will be decorating our PYC parade boat! Then tour Tacoma or relax a bit.

Afternoon: 'THE TOKEN PARADE' at 1:30pm. This is a pretty crazy tradition. We will have a team of 5 club members who will be dressed up to parade around the Tacoma Yacht Club facility, then go inside and compete in a Jeopardy style trivia contest to win judges points that add to our overall weekend competition among the many Yacht Club contestants. Not in that 5? No worries as we need a HUGE fan club to get them ready, cheer them on, then we also go inside to watch the trivia contest and cheer crazy loud for our PYC contingent. Come cheer on the PYC contingent in a crazy walking (not boat) parade up around the Yacht Club.
Dinner: TBD We may organize a club potluck dinner or there is also a buffet dinner at TYC.

Bringing Your Boat
Thinking of bringing your boat? A few details. This event is VERY crowded for moorage and sometimes some power issues. PYC members do not need to travel together, however we do meet in the harbor outside their docks at about 1300 then we are escorted in as a group. Tacoma will ensure that the parade boat is able to get out on Sunday morning. All other vessels will very likely be required to stay until the END of the parade before boats are released in the Last In/First Out order. This means a Sunday afternoon departure. Some club members choose to go just a short way Sunday then continue home to Poulsbo on Monday.
PETS? Due to difficult moorage arrangements and lack of shore side facilities, bringing pets to Daffodil is discouraged. If you do bring pets, please be responsible in handling and cleanup. Please keep pets on a leash at all times.
